  1. Does my driver have backup locally? Where are and how to delete such backups?

    Answer: if you have installed the DriverEngine.com client and applied the Driver Repair/upgrade, your driver will be automatically backed to the directory %eDrivers_Backup%\%Mfg%\%Class%\%Instance% . where:

    For the deletion of backup drivers, the deletion or corresponding reg key will do. For the complete removal of the driver backup, the deletion of sub-keys under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Walker\MyDrivers will do.

  2. Do year-service have relevant limits on the number of computers?

    Answer: Yes, they have. Such services are only available for such computers setting up year-service.

  3. In case that my computer is unable to connect to the internet, then, how could DriverEngine.com function?

    Answer: if the DriverEngine.com services are already available in your machine, what you need to do is log in the website of DriverEngine.com via a computer that is capable of linking with the internet. Then, you can employ "Driver Seek" function, click Add and input the code of the machine unable to connect with the internet so that you can check all devices of the computer. Click some device and consequently, you will find all versions of drivers of this very device. Thus, you can click the Driver Download link of some driver to download it to the local computer.     Answer: Some sound cards have many compatible devices (like Realtek). Some hardware manufacturers has done some incompatible modifications to the hardware, resulting in the so-called "incompatibility of the compatible devices" (C-MEDIA sound card is a frequent example). To deal with this, you need to employ the "Driver Seek" function to find all drivers for the sound card device and select the correct drivers of the manufacturer. Then, download and install them manually.

  7. How to handle the case that after the updating of USB camera driver, the computer is out of service?
